Alter Bridge are a band that refuse to stick to formulas that were mostly outdated when they got together, and the result has been one hell of a ride, both for the band members and all of us. Now.. However, the closer "The Last Hero" is one of the band's best ever songs. Cut out about half of the album, and you have one killer EP. Rating: 7/10. Album: 5. Release: 2016. The band's fifth album is their most in-your-face, mostly due to the production. Almost overpowering for some, there are over sixty minutes of seven-string shredding.
